I got my first tattoo with Sergen back in our college years… and ever since then, I got almost all of my tattoos from him. It has been exciting being able to watch him grow and find his own art and spread it all around the world in the most beautiful way possible… by engraving it on their skin forever.
When it comes to my own tattoos, he tattoed my hands first and it would be an underestimation when I say those are the first things people absolutely love when they meet me the first time. Hands are instruments of touch, a form of reaching and feeling the skin or the crust of things and he absolutely changed my ‘’touch’’ for good and made it worth remembrance. Then he drew flowers on me which are blooming to this day! What’s more important though is the way he makes you feel during the sessions; you get a few hours’ peak into his soul, his sincerity, his willing heart to listen, to observe and to understand.
So, being lucky enough to carry his art on your skin is an experience on its own and I feel especially lucky to be one of the people who got to watch this whole journey since day one and to see more people reaching him… and reached by him.
