Maria was traveling solo with her caravan to Mongolia from Germany, embarking on an adventure of a lifetime. Our paths crossed by pure chance in Batumi, where the vibrant culture and the spirit of exploration brought us together. After sharing stories of our travels and dreams, she expressed a desire to commemorate this journey with a unique tattoo, ultimately deciding to get an abstract backpiece by me. This decision led to a magical experience for both of us, as we collaborated on the design, blending her personal narrative with elements and shapes. As I worked on her tattoo, the connection deepened, revealing not just the art on her skin but also the beautiful stories of freedom, exploration, and self-discovery that defined her journey.
